STEP 6 - PRE-CONSTRUCTION MEETING
Before the building begins, we will schedule a pre-construction meeting with you. This meeting will be used to go over our selection process, any coordination or items that have been mentioned earlier, and any outstanding specifics.
A kick-off meeting will be organized by CR Custom Remodeling, and demolition and protection will begin. The next step may be coupled with this pre-construction meeting and all-in-one meeting, depending on the scale of the project.
STEP 7 - KICK-OFF, PROTECTION AND DEMOLITION
During this meeting, our team and you, the client, will define the rules of the game and the process for handling all communication and procedures for your remodeling, such as determining the areas for storage materials, dumpsters, temporary urinals, and utility access, getting to know the personnel and informing you of their procedures and standards of conduct, and defining the communication pattern to understand the role and responsibilities of each of our members.
Once the logistics are established, we’ll segregate the construction area to minimize disruption to other parts of your home that aren’t being remodeled. Your items and the surfaces of your home will be protected. Every day, we will keep our work areas safe and tidy.
STEP 8 - PROJECT UPDATE - PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Following the kick-off meeting and the start of the project, our project manager will call you to schedule a weekly meeting to keep you updated on the construction progress. We’ll keep an eye on the project while it’s being built, and we’ll review the progress to make sure it stays on track. We’ll also devise a strategy for decision-making and cooperation. Good communication, we believe, is the key to the project’s success.
STEP 9 - SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION
The ultimate stage of your house renovation is Substantial Completion. It’s time to put the finishing touches on the area and make the last preparations so that you, the owner, may occupy or use it for its intended purpose. At this time, the dust and noise have dissipated, and you’re almost ready to use your brand-new space!
Before your contractor moves on, it’s still crucial to pay attention to all the details and make sure that every component of the remodel is completed. As a result, we’ll schedule a walkthrough inspection to discover any work that needs to be corrected or tweaked. These alterations and adjustments will be noted on a document known as a PUNCH LIST if necessary. We’ll go on to complete the punch list and compile the relevant documentation for the project’s final closeout, alerting our clients.
STEP 10 - FINAL WALKTHROUGH - GUARANTEES AND WARRANTIES
After the punch list has been rectified or adjusted, a final walkthrough of the house project is required to ensure that everything has been completed and repaired to our client’s total satisfaction. The punch list will serve as a checklist.
Any documentation will be completed. Obtain a copy of all paperwork, including permits, receipts, change orders, lien waivers, warranties, and manufacturer’s manuals for your products, for your records.
We’ll also ask for warranty manuals from our manufacturers so you can keep track of what kind of maintenance and upkeep your new appliances require.
We’ll inform you about their quality assurances and warranties, including how long they last and what they cover. Following completion, we will have a six-month visit.
Fill out the form with your information, and we’ll contact you to schedule a free consultation to better understand your needs and aspirations for your next project
